Kunterbuntes Allerlei

Das Tief Daisy bringt  Kälte, Sturmwind und Schnee auch zu uns nach Deutschland. Hoffen wir, daß die schlimmsten Prognosen nicht eintreffen und daß uns nur die Ausläufer dieses Tiefs streifen.

Noch hält sich alles in Grenzen. Zwar weht der Sturmwind bereits bei mir um die Hausecke, aber das ist im Augenblick auch alles. Und das hatten wir schon manchmal schlimmer.

Eine schöne große Tasse warmen Gewürztee oder ein Glas Wein. Ein gutes Buch, eine Handarbeit oder den Laptop und ab in die Sofa-Ecke, mit einer Decke bewaffnet. Kerzen auf dem Tisch lassen uns den Glanz des eben erst vergangenen Weihnachtsfestes nocheinmal erahnen.  - Gemütlichkeit -

So läßt es sich aushalten und auch Tom und Minnie fühlen sich wohl.

Schauen wir mal, was dieses Wochenende bringt. Wohl dem der nicht vor die Tür muß. Zuhause ist es eben immer noch am schönsten.

Und jetzt ist es Sonntag Abend. Hier war der Sturm nicht so schlimm. Ein wenig mehr Wind als sonst, ein paar Schneeverwehungen etc. - sonst nichts. Aber oben im Norden  und an der Küste hat es doch viel mehr gestürmt als hier. Die Bilder in den Nachrichten waren nicht sehr erbaulich.
Schneeverwehungen, Staus auf den Autobahnen, Menschen die Stunden in ihren Autos verbringen mußten, an der Küste ebenfalls keine sehr schönen Bilder und auch auf Fehmarn waren nach Stunden noch Dörfer von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten.

Hoffen wir, daß sich alles bald wieder normalisiert.




Daisy is bringing very cold temperatures, storm and snow  to Germany. Let`s hope that  the prognoses won`t be comming true and it will not get as bad as they say.

Until now it is not too bad yet. The wind is blowing around the corner of our house already, but we have had  that worse before.

A nice hot cup of spiced tea or a glass of wine. A good book, a handcraft or our laptop and then we can sit on the couch, covered with a warm blanket. Candles on the table let us remember the glow of Christmas, which has just passed by.

That is a good way to go through it and Tom and Minnie like this too.

So let us see what this weekend will bring. Happy are those who don`t have to leave their home this weekend.  Home sweet home.

And now it is Sunday evening. Here the storm was not that bad. A bit more wind as usual, a little bit of snow - but that was all. But up north and at the coast it  is pretty bad. The pictures in the news were not all that good.
A lot of snow, stops on the highways, people that had to stay in their  cars in the cold for hours. On the coast  it does not look too good either and on Fehmarn there were villages cut off by the snow for hours.

Let`s hope it will get better soon,
